Caytie Langford is a real estate investor, motivational speaker and empowerment advocate, fueled by her unwavering passion for helping women gain confidence, believe in themselves, and take massive action in their lives. As a partner at Selene Brighthouse, a women-led commercial real estate firm, Caytie leads strategic initiatives, including partnerships with companies and organizations, as well as financial education for women aspiring to become limited partners in real estate. Selene Brighthouse is on a mission to disrupt the status quo by ensuring women are equipped to navigate The Great Wealth Transfer, which will see $30 trillion shift into their hands in the coming years.
In addition to her work at Selene Brighthouse, Caytie is the founder of Trailblazers: Women in Real Estate Investing, a thriving community dedicated to supporting women who are building real estate investing businesses. When Caytie began her entrepreneurial journey in 2016, it was lonely and challenging. Trailblazers provides women entrepreneurs with a place of connection, support, and encouragement—a safe environment where they can share their experiences and build their businesses alongside others who truly “get it.”
Caytie's journey in real estate began in 2010 with her husband, Shane, managing their own investment ventures. Now, her focus is on empowering more women to enter the world of real estate investing through innovative strategies and education. From 2016 to 2022, Caytie coached over 300 executive women and trained thousands more, helping them achieve their personal and professional goals. Prior to 2016, she connected female executives and philanthropists in Dallas with their passions as a nonprofit fundraising executive.
Caytie has been honored to speak at TEDxSMUWomen, Capital One, Fidelity, Mary Kay, and many more prestigious events. Her dynamic presence and empowering insights inspire women to embrace their confidence, take bold risks, and lead with purpose.
Caytie holds a B.S. in Recreation, Park & Tourism Sciences from Texas A&M University. She resides in Dallas with her husband, Shane. On her days off you can find her eating copious amounts of sushi, cooking homemade pasta, or spending time with her three godchildren.
